Neil Gaiman Philippines

This used to be the "Neil Gaiman in Manila" Event Website, but has now morphed into a local Gaiman fan blog, and soon, hopefully it will eventually evolve into a true fan site by Pinoy Gaiman fans. :)

The Note

The Other Hector kindly sent this scan of the special note which comes with a limited number of copies of "Anansi Boys" available at Fully Booked and Bibliarch branches. There are only 1000 prints, so it's best to buy now! :)

"Grimble" and Anansi Wednesday

In Neil's recent blog post, he talked about a funny book called "Grimble" by Clement Freud. I looked it up in Google, and you can read "Grimble" and "Grimble at Christmas" at this website. Enjoy! :)

Also, don't forget to run to Fully Booked or Bibliarch today to get your copies of "Anansi Boys" which come with a special note from Neil himself.

Some people from Nocturne are planning to meet up at FB Rockwell tonight. If you're in the area and would like to talk to fellow Gaiman fans, drop by FB Rockwell around 7pm. :)

"Anansi Boys" now available in Fully Booked

"Anansi Boys" is now available in all Fully Booked and Bibliarch branches. The hardbound copy costs Php1099. However, we suggest you reserve a copy first and get it starting Wednesday, 28 September, because by then, the books will have a special note from Neil himself attached to them. (Wow!) Only about 700 of the books will come with the note, so best reserve and get your copies as soon as possible. You can call Fully Booked (Rockwell) for reservations at (02)7565001.

Mirrormask (the Novella version) is also available now. :)

Thanks to Nina, Hec, and Anansi Girl for the info. :)

For those who weren't able to catch Inquirer TV's Gaiman segment the first time it aired - and those who absolutely cannot wait for "Anansi Boys" to get their Gaiman fix - switch over to ABC 5 on Sept. 22, 10 p.m. That's a Thursday, by the way. Spread the word! ^_^

Thanks, Jamie! :)
