Neil Gaiman Philippines

This used to be the "Neil Gaiman in Manila" Event Website, but has now morphed into a local Gaiman fan blog, and soon, hopefully it will eventually evolve into a true fan site by Pinoy Gaiman fans. :)

update!

Yes, this is what used to be the "Neil Gaiman in Manila" Event Website. But I'll be reformatting that site into a local Gaiman fansite, so while I work on that, I switched to Blogger to be able to continually post links and other updates. Thanks for your continued support of the site. :)

For your reference, the original site can be found here

Donna wrote in to share a link to David Mack's rendition of Death. Click here to view it. Apparently, the print is for sale! You can check out how to purchase that through this link. Thanks for sharing that with us, Donna! :)

The Moderator of the gaiman_fullybooked mailing list announced some time ago that she won't be checking messages as regularly as before the event, so if anyone still has links or articles or artwork or anything else they want to share with fellow Neil Gaiman fans, you may eMail me (acrossthestars@gmail.com), and I'll just post them here for everyone. :)

The Neil Gaiman book signing is the topic of this week's Beerkada comic strips by Lyndon Gregorio, published in The Philippine Star. Here are the links for:
the July 19 strip and
the July 20 strip
For the life of me, I've never been able to trace the older strips. The Philippine Star's website's archive feature doesn't seem to be working. More links when I find them. :)

Some photos taken during the event may be found here. Thanks to Chico of Nocturne.

NU 107 also replayed their interview last Saturday. Unfortunately, I was at the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" Book Launch at Fully Booked. If anyone was able to record the whole thing or if anyone has a transcript, please do email me at: acrossthestars@gmail.com. Thanks! :)

Iya also sent me a message through YM and gave me a link to a page where she uploaded some video snippets of Neil talking about Filipino mythology. She apologizes that the video is... uh... tilted. :D
